Matthew Ward

Level 1 SLS Instructor

Matthew is a certified speech level singing instructor from Australia and has studied and performed in New York, Los Angeles and his hometown of Sydney.

With over 10 years working professionally in the musical theatre industry, Matthew has learnt what it takes to become a great singer and performer. A graduate of Australia's elite performing arts academy NIDA (National institute of Dramatic Arts) and holding a Diploma of Musical Theatre from the Central Queensland Conservatorium, Matthew's professional credits include lead roles in West Side Story, Godspell, Les Miserables, and Joseph & His Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat.

In addition to Matthew's depth of experience in the performing industry he has also established and run his own vocal studio, Learn to Sing Australia.

Now Matthew is excited to bring his knowledge and expertise to Voxbox where he looks forward to helping students explore their true vocal potential whether it is to pursue a professional career in the music industry or to fulfill a passion for singing.
