1. Voxbox acts at all times as agent for your teacher and any action is carried out on behalf of your teacher.
2. Private lessons may be booked either as regular weekly lessons or as occasional lessons. All regular lesson bookings are ongoing on a weekly basis unless temporarily or permanently cancelled as set out below. Occasional, temporary or "one-off" lesson bookings may be made: these will be clearly specified as such.
3. A fee deposit of £30 is payable upon booking any lessons in private or in a tuition group. This will normally be a signed undated cheque which will be held by Voxbox on behalf of the teacher against unpaid fees.
4. Lesson bookings may be cancelled up to 6pm on the day before the lesson. Lessons booked for the following day are invoiced daily at 6pm: at this time the lesson becomes chargeable at full rate, even if you cancel. The cancellation fee is payable immediately, but in normal practise may be paid at your next lesson.
5. Not attending a booked lesson without letting us know will amount to late cancellation of that lesson and at our discretion may result in permanent cancellation of your lesson slot. We will normally try to contact you in these circumstances to clarify the situation.
6. We reserve the right to decline any booking or bookings. Under certain circumstances, (normally unavoidable delays on transportation etc.) your teacher may request us to provide a substitute teacher. We will contact the other teachers and endeavour to do so, so that your lesson will go ahead if possible.
7. Payment terms: all fees payable at or before the lesson by means from time to time notified.
8. Copyright in all lesson material and in any material recorded during your lessons is property of Voxbox or licensors. No copyright material owned or licensed by Voxbox shall be removed from Voxbox premises without written permission. We are unable to provide you with copies of songs or other copyright work as this is an infringement of copyright. No audio material on which you appear will be published without your consent.
9. Lessons are undertaken, and you enter any premises where lessons may take place at your own risk. Voxbox is a recording studio type environment. We try to keep the area as safe as possible, but there are cables and stands and other physical hazards as normally encountered in studios. Please take care.
10. Please let your teacher know about any condition affecting your voice of any other aspect of your health which may be involved in light physical exercise.
11. Lessons may be recorded by Voxbox for quality control purposes. You may be videotaped at any time when you are on the Voxbox premises. You are encouraged to obtain and use a portable recorder to record your lessons. You may not duplicate, share or publish these recordings in any way... they are for your use only.
12. No refunds will be made in respect of course or event sessions not attended, as we cannot fill your place once the course or event has commenced. Any lesson booked under a non-refundable, non-changeable pre-paid discount scheme is non-refundable and non-changeable.
13. As a student your name will be added to the Voxbox e-mail list. You will continue to receive e-mail after you cease to be a student, until you request Voxbox to remove your name from the list. This may be done by replying to any unwanted mail with the word"remove" in thre subject line.

• We can use recordings of you (30 second samples of original material) on our website to promote Voxbox.
• We can use your name on a list of our students.
• We can use photos of you on our website and other promo material.
• You provide us with a written testimonial honestly reflecting your experience as a student.

There are very limited places on this programme!

• 6 lessons taken according to these rules ("qualifying lessons") will entitle you to pay the discounted price shown on the Voxbox website at the time the sixth such lesson
• Qualifying Lessons must all be with the same teacher, be paid for before or at the time of the lesson, be signed off above by the teacher, and must be in an unbroken series in consecutive weeks.
• This card is valid only for you the student whose name appears hereon.
  It is your responsibility to ensure that this card is signed by your teacher at each lesson.
• Any breach of these rules will invalidate this card, and you will need to start a new card.
